Every year, a friend in Hokkaido kindly sends me white and green asparagus.
We get green asparagus here as well, but white asparagus is so rare, it’s a real treat!!
With green ones, I eat it different ways, throwing in salads, grilling them as a side dish to meat/fish, making gratins etc.
But For the white ones, I love it simply with Sauce Hollandaise !
