Exciting lessons today. With one student we played a duet by sight-reading. Our hands went over each other at times, bumping, clashing and laughing away. The next student brought in his own composition and said he needs advice from the pianist’s perspective. Together we looked at places where he can change the harmonies or find a complete different material, thinking of how to make the music more dynamic. It was an exciting process! This spontaneous music making is what brings music alive!
今日のレッスンでは一人の生徒さんとは初見で連弾大会。連弾を通して相手との呼吸を合わせることを覚えたり音のバランス感覚も養える。次の生徒さんは自分の作曲した作品を持ってきた。ふむふむ、中々良いでないの❣️でももう少しここはリスト風に華やかにしてみる？そうすると次のセクションが生きるわね。などと話し合いながら少し手を加えてみて二人で楽しんでしまいました。音楽がどんどん即興的に膨らんでいく過程が楽しかった！作曲家の作品もこんな感じで考えると立体的になるのよね。
